        Basic Stages of Mask Making:

1.     Mold impression: use gypsona or plaster of Paris to take an impression or “female mold”

2.     The Bust again use plaster of Paris to make a bust or positive mold, this is also known as a plug

3.     build the shape of the mask using modeling clay

4.      Cut out fiberglass and saturate with resin (don’t use two much resin as this adds weight and actually while not adding strength

5.     Map out the holes then cut them out using drills and other power tools

6.     Sand

7.     Prime, paint and clear coat (Urethane based automotive paints are recommended)

8.     Add foam and straps
